Angel Tree Program

It’s that time of the year for the聽Angel聽Tree Program.聽聽Last year, thanks to your generosity, the聽Salvation聽Army聽of Davidson County聽Angel聽Tree聽program was able to provide Christmas gifts to many children in Davidson County.

The Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need ages 0-12 years old in Davidson County. 聽 Help the Salvation Army make a difference this year in a child鈥檚 life by adopting an angel.

Here is how it works:

1.聽Select an聽Angel聽or two from the Christmas聽tree聽located in the Brooks Student Center lobby or click here for an聽

2.聽Each聽tag聽provides the聽Angel鈥檚 name, age, gender, clothing size, and wish list.

3.聽 Fulfill the 鈥渘eeds and wishes鈥 on the card by purchasing new, unused,聽unwrapped聽toys and clothing items that the angel has specifically wished for; however, if you’re not able, don’t feel obligated to purchase聽everything聽on the聽tag.

4.聽After purchasing items, please place them in a durable bag such as a lawn and garden leaf bag and be sure to leave the Angel tag inside the bag or affixed to the gift (s) so that the Salvation Army can identify where the items need to go.聽 It is imperative that the Angel tag remain with the toys for proper distribution.

5.聽Return your gifts to the Office of Student Life conference room聽by December 11,聽the Salvation Army truck will pick them up at 11 am.

Thank you again for all you are doing. Your assistance this year will ensure that hundreds of Angel tags for Davidson County will be fulfilled and bring a smile to a child鈥檚 face on Christmas Day.
