SUMMARY:Angel Tree Program Begins
DESCRIPTION:Angel Tree Program\nIt’s that time of the year for the Angel Tree Program.  Last year\, thanks to your generosity\, the Salvation Army of Davidson County Angel Tree program was able to provide Christmas gifts to many children in Davidson County. \nThe Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need ages 0-12 years old in Davidson County.   Help the Salvation Army make a difference this year in a child’s life by adopting an angel. \nHere is how it works: \n1. Select an Angel or two from the Christmas tree located in the Brooks Student Center lobby or click here for an Angel Tag \n2. Each tag provides the Angel’s name\, age\, gender\, clothing size\, and wish list. \n3.  Fulfill the “needs and wishes” on the card by purchasing new\, unused\, unwrapped toys and clothing items that the angel has specifically wished for; however\, if you’re not able\, don’t feel obligated to purchase everything on the tag. \n4. After purchasing items\, please place them in a durable bag such as a lawn and garden leaf bag and be sure to leave the Angel tag inside the bag or affixed to the gift (s) so that the Salvation Army can identify where the items need to go.  It is imperative that the Angel tag remain with the toys for proper distribution. \n5. Return your gifts to the Office of Student Life conference room by December 11\, the Salvation Army truck will pick them up at 11 am. \nThank you again for all you are doing. Your assistance this year will ensure that hundreds of Angel tags for Davidson County will be fulfilled and bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas Day.
