DESCRIPTION:Severe winter weather\, as we have personally experienced\, can often lead to widespread blood drive cancellations. The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage because the supply of blood has dropped about 35% over the past month as hospital requests outpaced donations. Your blood donation is urgently needed to help end the shortage & ensure lifesaving patient care isn’t delayed. \nBe the lifesaving difference this January and make an appointment to give at our winter blood drive on Tuesday\, February 10\, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Smith Health Sciences building room 205 on the Davidson Campus. \nThose who come to give will receive a $20 e-gift card to a merchant of choice.
