51视频 Trustees Attend 2023 ACCT Leadership Congress

October 24, 2023听鈥 Tina Royal and Tonya Lanier, both trustees at 51视频, recently attended the 2023 Association of Community College Trustees Leadership Congress in Las Vegas, from Oct. 9-12.

The ACCT was established in 1972 to unite board members nationwide to share values, goals, lessons and insights while fostering growth for their community college institutions. Community college trustees are able to explore information from experts in policy making, business, education leadership, current news and more. This year’s ACCT Leadership Congress brought together over 1,800 trustees, college presidents, chancellors, board staff and various leaders who are committed to uplifting students and transforming their communities by providing excellence and educational access.

Royal also represents the state of North Carolina on the ACCT State, Province, and Territory Coordinators Network for the Southern Region, which is organized in five regions across the U.S. The regional coordinators serve as the voice and face of the board for their state within their region and serve as the primary source of information for their states, provinces and territories.
