This all online course is designed for working adult students with an intermediate level of English or higher who want to change jobs and work in a veterinary practice. It is scheduled to meet on ZOOM on Wednesday evenings 6-7pm and will also require students to complete work on their own time in Moodle/Canvas before each class session. 聽聽The class is designed to help students pass the Texas Veterinary Medical Association TVMA Vet Assistant level 1 exam聽 聽Class content will include 1) veterinary terminology, 2) anatomy and physiology, 3) animal behavior and communication, 4) grooming techniques, 5) proper handling and restraining of animals, 6) obtaining and handling specimens, and more.
