Phlebotomy

This course prepares individuals to obtain blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Coursework includes proper specimen collection and handling, communication skills, and maintaining patient data. Graduates may qualify for employment in hospitals, clinics, physicians’ offices, and other health care settings and may be eligible for national certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology as phlebotomy technicians.

How do I enroll in this program?

  1. Complete the Program Interest Form and submit it to Public Safety Bldg. office #111,
  2. Attach proof of high school diploma/GED,
  3. Provide proof of either college credit for English or provide CASAS reading test score.
  4. Have CPR Certification that is valid through the end of class.
