The course is designed specially to meet the subject requirements and standards established by the Department of Labor: Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training for electrical mechanics. This course is designed to cover the key content as it pertains to commercial and residential electrical processes including Alternating Current, Motors: Theory and Application, Electric Lighting, Conduit Bending, Pull and Junction Boxes, Conductor Installations, Cable Tray, Conductor Terminations and Splices, Grounding and Bonding, Circuit Breakers and Fuses, Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts.
This course uses the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) training format and provides students who successfully complete with the NCCER Electrical Level II Certification.
Important Requirements: Before enrolling in level 2, student must have successfully completed level 1 course. This is essential to ensure that all participants have the foundational knowledge required for success in advanced levels.

Course will be held at Childress Technologies, 1660 East Center Street Ext., Lexington NC 27292. Please be aware that classes may occasionally meet on Saturdays to provide live hands-on experience in commercial or residential environments. This practical component is critical for enhancing your learning and skill development.
Instructor may have additional books, tools and safety requirements list presented on the first night of class. Closed toed shoes are required. Person Protection Equipment (PPE) is provided.
